Ceramic fuses are our current main products, including standard cylindrical fuses commonly used in ordinary household appliances or electronic devices, as well as special fuses used in automobiles, energy storage, and charging equipment. Compared with glass fuses, the main difference between ceramic fuses and glass fuse is the material. Due to the different materials, bring about the process and performance are different, so the scope of application is also different. Let's take a standard cylindrical fuse as an example to briefly introduce the differences between the ceramic fuses and glass fuses.
First difference is the material，one made of glass，the fuse body is transparent，we can directly see the state of the internal fuse；the other made of ceramic，we must use the equipment to confirm the internal fuse situation.
Secondly, the function is different. The explosion-proof performance of ceramics is much better than that of glass tubes, and it is not easy to break.
In addition, the ceramic tube has good heat dissipation, so the ceramic tube can be used in the circuit with higher current, while the glass fuse is usually used in the circuit with smaller current.
At present, our company's glass tube fuses have been announced to stop production on January 15, 2022. In the future, we will mainly focus on the research and production of automotive fuses, energy storage system fuses and 5G communication module fuses. We have achieved good results so far. Our company independently The HEV fuse, EV fuse, MEV fuse and BS88 fuse series developed and produced have been put into production and have obtained UL248 certification. In the future, our company will continue to invest manpower and material resources to increase the research and development and production of fuse products in the above three fields, and produce products with more stable performance and better quality.
