As more and more countries join the WTO, in order to be in line with international standards, many countries have formulated laws and regulations to limit the safety, energy conservation, environmental protection and other technical indicators of various commodities, which can not only ensure the national industry and market level, but also form certain technical barriers.
Japan is a country with a complicated safety regulation system. If foreign products want to enter the Japanese market, they will face a higher threshold. The DENTORL Law of Japan stipulates that 498 products must pass the safety certification before entering the Japanese market. Among them, 165 Class A products shall have diamond shaped PSE marks, and 333 Class B products shall have round PSE marks.
PSE certification is a mandatory safety certification in Japan, which is used to prove that electrical and electronic products have passed the safety standard test of the Japanese Electrical and Raw Material Safety Act (DENAN Law) or international IEC standards. Since April 1, 2001, the "Electrical Product Control Law (DENTORL)" has been officially renamed as "Electrical Product Safety Law (DENAN)". Different from the control of the contractual provisions of the previous regulatory system, the new system will be guaranteed by unofficial organizations.
