Regardless of high voltage or low voltage, the fuse of the power system is selected according to the capacity and rated current of the transformer.
If the capacity of a single transformer is 100KVA or below, the high-voltage side is selected according to 2 to 3 times the rated current of the transformer;
If the capacity of a single transformer is above 100KVA, the high-voltage side is selected according to 1.5 to 2 times the rated current of the transformer;
Commonly used fuse standards are 3, 5, 7, 10, 15, 20, 30, 50, 75, 100, 125, 150, 200A.
For example, the 100KVA transformer chooses melting wire, the rated current of the 100KVA transformer is 5.77A, and the selection is based on 2 to 3 times the rated current of the transformer; 5.77X2=11.4 5.77X3=17.31
In the fuse standard, the standard greater than 11.4A and less than 17.31A is 15A, so choose 15A.
The rated current of the fuse on the low-voltage side of the transformer is selected according to the secondary rated current of the transformer.
